Overview

A Russian family in Nice, 1876–77. Mme Kondareff is the sister of Princess Souvoroff, «la plus laide et la plus pauvre des Basilewsky» (068.0063); in May 1877 she sups with Marie's aunt (071.0366) and is «toujours en train d'emprunter» (071.0502). Her daughter is «la petite Lisa Kondareff, nièce de la princesse Souvoroff» (068.0751), the Lise of twelve («Lise a douze ans», 071.0527) who cannot pronounce r (071.0541) and plays with the Anitchkoff girls in May–June 1877. The Mon Journal t.10 index lists «Kondareff (Mlle Lise), 174, 176, 178-179, 180, 188, 190, 192, 195, 197, 208, 215, 223, 231».

Tagging note

This file is the family and the girl Lise (Lisa) Kondareff. Her mother, «Mme Kondareff», has her own entry, Mme Kondareff. Every «Lise» of Nice in May–June 1877 is Lise Kondareff: the pages of the t.10 index entry «Kondareff (Mlle Lise)» match all of them, while the same index's «Anitchkoff (Mlle Lise)» is a slip (the Anitchkoff girls are Marie, Olga and Vera, t.9 index). Lise is Lise Howard of 1874.
