April fool1 aside, I am accepted. Julian came to say so himself last night after midnight, on leaving Lefèbvre’s. It was Oelsnitz he saw.
Poisson d’avril à part, je suis reçue. Julian est venu le dire lui-même hier après minuit en sortant de chez Lefèbvre. C’est Oelsnitz qu’il a vue.
We drank punch at the atelier. Bojidar, without being asked, inquired of Fidière (a young man from downstairs) and assures me I have number two.2 This seems to me excessive.
Nous avons pris du punch à l’atelier. Bojidar sans que je le lui demande s’est informé chez Fidière (un jeune d’homme d’en bas) et assure que j’ai le numéro 2. Ceci me paraît excessif.
