Identification (RSR, 2026-10-21)

The Mon Journal t.13 index lists «Toulouse-Lautrec (Alexandre comte de) : 94, 101-102, 111, 110, 112, 135, 356» and «Toulouse-Lautrec (Alexandre, fils du précédent) : 94». Its pages match the 1879 passages on «l'oncle Lautrec» (086.0249, 086/1879-09-10, p.94), «L'oncle de Toulouse» who tells fortunes (086.0317, 086.0438), «M. de Toulouse», who nicknamed Bojidar «Corridor» (086.0323, p.102), and «de Toulouse» at the champagne supper (086.0654, p.135). The diary never explains how he is Marie's «oncle». Alexandre is the French form of «Sacha»: the 1874 «Sacha Lautrec» (glossary places/cities/LAUTREC.md, a person misfiled as a place) may be the same man (0.5, not checked). People/mentioned/ALEXANDRE_LAUTREC.md is a second stub (1 use); not merged.

1875: "Diadia" at Wiesbaden (RSR, 2026-10-21)

The Mon Journal t.5 index lists «Toulouse-Lautrec (comte de), [Diadia], 248, 257, 264» and «Diadia : Toulouse-Lautrec, (comte de)». In August 1875 Marie meets him at Wiesbaden: «Tout d'un coup, ô surprise ! Qui vois-je ! Diadia ! M. de Toulouse !» (039.0068, 15 August, p.248); on 20 August «Diadia arrive de Wiesbaden et cet homme spirituel et comme il faut nous fait passer plusieurs heures très agréablement» (039.0144, scan p.254 = printed p.253, a page the index omits); on 21 August she listens to the orchestra at Wiesbaden «avec Diadia et Batourine» (039.0188, p.257). «Diadia» is Russian for «uncle», which fits the «oncle Lautrec» of 1879; that the 1875 comte and the 1879 Alexandre comte de Toulouse-Lautrec are one man is probable (0.8): same title and name, same avuncular address, but the t.5 index gives no forename.

1874: "Diadia" in Nice (RSR, 2026-10-21)

The Mon Journal t.3 index lists «Toulouse-Lautrec (Sacha de) [Diadia], 6, 17, 57, 87, 154, 165», «Toulouse-Lautrec (Emile de), 166» and «Diadia : Toulouse-Lautrec, (comte de)». On 9 April 1874 (t.3 p.154) «Diadia» passes on the gossip that Prince Wittgenstein has married Rosalie Léon (018.0210, retagged here from DIADIA). The other DIADIA tags of 1873–74 (16 files) have not been audited against the index pages (see ledger B-55).

1873: «diadia» in Nice (RSR, 2026-10-22)

On 20 November 1873 the family hears that «le comte de Toulouse-Lautrec … viendra avec son petit-fils, le fils de Séraphine, qui vient d'hériter une fortune de quatorze millions et du titre de marquis» (012.0298); the next day «diadia comme nous appelons le comte de Toulouse-Lautrec» comes to look at hotels with them (013.0004). Through November-December 1873 he calls almost daily («Diadia vient tous les jours chez nous, c'est un charmant homme», 013.0129), brings his granddaughter Mitsia (013.0130), knows «Wittgenstein et toutes ses histoires, il connaît tout le monde» (013.0051) and entertains the girls with card tricks and anecdotes (015.0113). The Mon Journal t.2 index: «Toulouse-Lautrec (comte de) [Diadia]», «Toulouse-Lautrec (Séraphine de) fille», «Toulouse-Lautrec (marquis de) (fils de Séraphine)», «Mitsia (Mlle), petite fille de Toulouse-Lautrec». The DIADIA file (24 paragraphs, 1873-75) is to be merged here; «Diadia» should not be added as an alias (see DIADIA.md).

«Sacha» and «l'oncle Sacha» (RSR, 2026-10-22)

The t.3 index names him «Sacha de» Toulouse-Lautrec because of «the genre of Sacha Lautrec» (018.0312), so «Sacha» (Alexandre) agrees with the t.13 «Alexandre comte de». «Sacha» alone in 1873 and 1875 is uncle Alexandre Babanine (t.2 and t.5 indexes; see SACHA.md). «L'oncle Sacha» of 26 Dec 1873 (014.0227), indexed under Babanine, could also be «diadia» himself and is left untagged. The untagged «diadia» of 014.0038, 014.0226 and 014.0281 (Dec 1873) were tagged here on 2026-10-22. In tome 4 (Jul 1874–Apr 1875) «diadia» is Alexandre Babanine instead (t.4 index «Babanine (Alexandre), [Sacha], [diadia] oncle»; 030.0064), so «diadia» is decided per tome.
