Villevieille, always elegant and correct, dines with us; she plays the piano like an angel — the instrument one detests becomes a delight beneath her fingers. Poor girl, she will never marry; she must be a good forty years old; but painted and polished, with a magnificent figure, still pretty... I wonder what can have prevented her from marrying — pretty, a good name, good connections, full of talents, intelligent.Lundi 19 décembre 1881 Villevieille toujours élégante et correcte dîne avec nous, elle joue du piano comme un ange, le piano que l’on déteste devient un instrument délicieux sous ses doigts. Pauvre fille, elle ne se mariera pas, elle a bien quarante ans; mais peinte, astiquée, taille magnifique, encore jolie... Je me demande ce qui l’a empêché de se marier, jolie, beau nom, belle parenté, pleine de talents, intelligente.
