De Daillens thinks I have committed a grave blunder with Mme Adam and that it must be set right. How? Go to see her again and tell her that, the winter being advanced, our day is definitively fixed for Saturday? Or send her a card? It is true I have made a blunder there.
De Daillens trouve que j'ai commis une grosse maladresse avec Mme Adam et qu'il faut arranger cela. Comment ? Aller la voir encore et lui dire que l'hiver étant avancé notre jour est définitivement fixé à samedi ? Où bien lui envoyer une carte ? C'est vrai j'ai fait là une sottise.
