I sum up these two days in few words. Yesterday we had a disagreeable incident at the hotel.
Je résume ces deux jours en peu de mots. Hier nous eûmes un désagrément à l'hôtel.
There have been complaints that we retire too late, that I sing late, and finally -- oh horror! -- that we are seen undressed in the evening. The indignation and fury of everyone are impossible to describe.
Il y a eu des plaintes que nous nous couchons trop tard, que je chante tard et enfin, oh horreur ! Que l'on nous voit déshabillées le soir. L'indignation et la colère de tous sont impossibles à décrire.
