And how strong was what I felt beside what I feel now. Once again they made me angry, but only once. It rains; the dress from Laferriere's is badly done. I go to her; she fixes it. I believe this she-devil does not want to make me dresses -- what a misfortune! what shall I do then? Oh, if I dared ask God for such a trifle, I would ask Him to make this she-devil make me dresses. All day I am anxious about it.
Towards seven the rain stops and we go strolling. Nothing tires me like strolling -- I find the expression very apt. Dusautoy is making me a riding habit. Maman takes Striker with us, and we go to see the three-headed woman; it is done with a lighting effect, and it is worth seeing -- it is silly. We stroll again until ten o'clock at night.
The question is where we shall go from Paris; we are thinking of Spa. I do not know where one goes after the death of Baden-Baden. For two days I have worn my hair hanging loose as I used to. It is golden and it curls!
