Wind and cool. At the promenade, in the carriage (vicuna garment, not bad), almost no one. I went to try on my dress.

Vent et frais. A la promenade, en voiture (vêtement vigogne, pas mal) presque personne. Je suis allée essayer ma robe.

Then, as everyone is at Monaco and Dina in her bed with her bad foot, Mlle Collignon and I, intending to go to the French Theater this evening, went to ask whether any of the Pattons would come with us, but they would not. We stayed at their house until it was time to return.

Puis, comme tous sont à Monaco et Dina dans son lit avec son pied malade, moi et Mlle Collignon, ayant l'intention d'aller ce soir au Français, nous allons demander si quelqu'un des Patton n'ira avec nous mais il ne viennent pas. Nous restâmes chez eux jusqu'à ce qu'il était temps de rentrer.
