For about a week I have been having my lunch brought from home to the studio; it has been organized in a thingamajig of straw or rush, like the soldiers'. It is much more sensible than running from the rue Vivienne to the Champs-Elysees and losing the hours when the light is finest. In this way I work from eight to twelve and from one to four o'clock.
