Maman encountered him today — quite alone, as usual since his marriage — and he greeted her very pleasantly. Old beast — he perhaps thinks of me as I think of Multedo.
Maman l'a rencontre aujourd'hui tout seul comme d'habitude depuis son mariage, il l'a saluee tres aimablement. Vieil animal, il pense peut-etre a moi comme je pense a Multedo.
A long time ago I promised to sit for Anna Nordgren — this week I make good on it. I sat for her and met the celebrated (at Julian's) Amanda Sival, who won a studio medal for a painting and is fairly well known in Sweden, and who has exhibited at the Salon. As for Anna, she had, as you know, a painting at the Universal Exhibition in the Swedish Fine Arts section.
Il y a longtemps j'ai promis de poser pour Anna Nordgren, cette semaine je m'execute, j'ai pose et fait connaissance de la fameuse (chez Julian) Amanda Sival qui a eu une medaille a l'atelier pour une peinture et qui est assez connue en Suede, et qui a expose au salon. Quant a Anna elle a eu comme vous le savez un tableau a l'Exposition Universelle aux Beaux Arts suedois.
