Maman, Dina, Paul, and M. Bashkirtseff have left for Nice this evening. Maman goes to supervise the packing of the furniture.
Maman, Dina, Paul et M. Bashkirtseff sont partis pour Nice ce soir. Maman y va pour surveiller l'emballage des meubles.
We stopped at the Gavinis'; I made the acquaintance of a young girl and her mother.
Nous avons passé chez les Gavini, j'ai fait la connaissance d'une jeune fille et de sa mère.
I nearly left for Nice myself, but next week there is a competition at the studio.
J'ai failli partir moi-même pour Nice, mais la semaine prochaine il y a concours.
Returning from the station (my aunt and I), I stop at Mouzay's and borrow a bodice (!!!) — for I had only a light blouse under my fur coat — and we go to see the Revue at the Variétés with de Daillens and my aunt.
En retournant de la gare (ma tante et moi) j'entre chez Mouzay, lui emprunte un corsage, (!!!) car je n'avais qu'une chemisette sous la pelisse et nous allons voir la Revue des Variétés avec de Daillens et ma tante.
