I wake at noon, lunch at half past two, and at three o'clock Biasini arrives with plans and drawings. We build, undo, draw again, and I believe this time the plan for our magnificent drawing rooms is settled. The drawing room will be eighteen metres long by ten wide; the dining room will be a little smaller.
We go to Ange's, where I make the acquaintance of M. Pelikan's daughter.
I am irritated and tired, can neither write nor read, and go straight to bed.
