Bonapartist deputy for the Charente-Inférieure. The index of Mon Journal t.12 lists «Jolibois (Eugène), homme politique : 154». English Wikipedia («Eugène Jolibois») gives him as deputy from 1876 to 1893, first elected for the second constituency of Saintes on 20 February 1876 with the backing of Baron Eugène Eschassériaux.
