Lady Folkner (Falkner)

An Englishwoman of the Nice and Baden-Baden seasons, whose husband Marie calls Lord Folkner or Falkner (see LORD_FALKNER). In April 1875 she is seen at the theatre with her husband and Lord Loftus (031.0232, 14 April), walking with them (031.0249, 16 April) and in the town (031.0314, 21 April). On 12 December 1875 Marie remembers young Loftus from Baden, where he was often with Lady Folkner (050.0705). Mon Journal indexes: «Falkner (lady)», t.2 pp. 154, 258 and t.3 pp. 7, 23, 193; «Folkner (lady)», t.5 pp. 21-22, 27. Not identified further; the spelling varies, and the entries LADY_FALKNER, LORD_FALKNER and LORD_FOLKNER concern the same couple.
