Overview

Ariadne on the Panther (Ariadne auf dem Panther), the marble group by the Stuttgart sculptor Johann Heinrich Dannecker (1758–1841), finished in 1814 and bought by the Frankfurt banker Simon Moritz von Bethmann, who showed it from 1816 in a pavilion of his garden, the «Ariadneum», lit through rose-tinted glass; it is now in the Liebieghaus Skulpturensammlung, Frankfurt (Wikipedia, "Ariadne auf dem Panther"). Marie spells the name «Danneker».
