I continue to model until noon — this is the third week and I already have three complete compositions which Tony finds good; the third came together all at once... It is easier than painting as work and study...Jeudi 21 juin 1883
Tomorrow is the awards ceremony; they sent me the list of those honoured — and my name in it, painting section... It looks well... But I hesitate to go; it is not worth the trouble — and yet if... Who knows... Inexplicable fears.
C’est demain la distribution des récompenses, on m’a envoyé la liste des récompensés - Et mon nom là dedans, section de Peinture... Ça fait bien... Mais j’hésite à y aller, ça ne vaut pas la peine et puis si... Est-ce que je sais... Des peurs dont ne sait quoi.
