Tchernicheff to lunch; he is passing through. There are several who come and go and leave. I tell you this to explain certain names you see appearing irregularly.
Julian came to see my painting; he is very pleased with it. He spoke of it to Tony, who is very, very busy but who will come with pleasure when I have him called. Soutzo sends me an immense monumental basket of flowers and fruits topped by a plant. Julian stays for dinner, and we stay chatting until midnight.
