I order strawberries to be fetched; two francs are given. I tell Fortuné that it is not enough; the reply is that it is quite enough; I repeat that two francs' worth was not enough yesterday, and the reply comes again that it is quite enough, and that there were some left over that I did not finish.
J'ordonne de m'aller chercher des fraises, on donne deux francs, je dis à Fortuné que ce n'est pas assez, on répond que c'est bien assez, je répète qu'il y en avait pour deux francs hier et que je n'en ai pas eu assez, et on répond encore que c'est bien assez et qu'il en est resté que je n'ai pas tout mangé.
