I have not slept at all — an hour perhaps in all — so that it is exactly forty hours that I have been on my feet. I drew all day and all evening.
Maman is at the Doubelt's etc. One shall have news of Marcuard, who will be there. He asked me yesterday whether I would be there. I said no.
In an identical circumstance last week, Monsieur des Perrières did not go. I am writing in such haste that I must be getting rather muddled.
