Well, what I said yesterday is all very fine. Perhaps it is right and perhaps it is not.
I drew my singer from very close up and in foreshortening. I have the worst place in the studio this week, having arrived late on Monday.
— But it is not at all bad, said Julian; I am even astonished that you managed it thus. It is the most difficult pose — and how can you work from so close? Come, I see that things will run on wheels.
That is my world. My family go out and go to the theatre. I draw — awaiting the Carnival in Naples, if my plans do not change and nothing new arises.
