The Skating almost empty. A lady doubted my width, speaking in Italian.
Pascarola came, and I asked him who? — saying that remarks had been made in Italian. It is a lady of the aristocracy who began by turning Prince Humbert's head and has since turned everyone's head, but fallen very low.
We went to spend the evening at the Fabbricatores'. I was in good humor and said a great many silly things, and now I have come back to talk of Monsieur the Count.
