I was at the concert with my aunt and Markevitch, and had the displeasure of seeing that Italian in company with the Italian Somaglia — another Italian into the bargain.Mercredi, 30 décembre 1874 J'étais à la musique avec ma tante et Markevitch et j'eus le déplaisir de voir cet Italien auprès de l'Italienne Somaglia, voilà encore une Italienne. Mais ce qu'il y a de mieux, c'est qu'aujourd'hui viennent deux policemen pour dire que ce monsieur a porté plainte et qu'il faut qu'on enferme le chien. Ah ! exécrable race !
But what takes the prize is that today two policemen1 come to say that the gentleman has filed a complaint and that the dog must be locked up.
