Diary of Marie Bashkirtseff

Samedi, 17 octobre 1874

Wretched are my days now; my studies are not organised, like everything in general. The weather was fair, without sun.
Auguste is marrying off his daughter and asked to be excused for today. I went out only to take my lesson at Laussel's.
Our numerous dog family has grown again; Bouba sent me a young setter of three months.
I have finished reading my second book.
