Overview
A Belgian amateur tenor, friend of Diaz de Soria, in Nice in February 1877; not otherwise identified (no trace found under this spelling). Marie calls him «le ténor le plus célèbre comme amateur, et qu'on s'arrache à ce qu'il paraît» (
068.0943) and, less kindly, «laid, insignifiant et Belge» (
068.0946).
Relevance to Marie
He comes with Soria to the Bashkirtseffs' evening of 3 February 1877 and pays Marie extravagant compliments (
068.0953).
