On 12 June 1874, walking back along the Champs-Élysées after seeing the sick chimpanzees Jacques and Louise, Marie passes the Panorama (she saw it «au mois d'août dernier») and someone proposes to go in; they then go to the Palais de l'Industrie, where the «prince noir» leaves in a brouette (020.0217).
