The husband of the woman said to be Cardinal Antonelli's daughter. In Rossi's gossip of 23 April 1876 he is «un certain Lambertini» who came to Rome looking for a post at a hundred francs a month and asked the Vatican for leave to bear a great name, «prétendant descendre du pape Benoît XIV» (Prospero Lambertini, pope 1740-1758); refused, he was married to the cardinal's daughter instead and so became rich (059.0216).
