Cherubini

Overview

A man Marie meets at the skating club in Paris on 21 December 1879: «Nous sommes allés patiner, Berthe, Paul, Alexis et moi au club; là nous trouvons Lafond et Cherubini» (086.0752). This is the only mention in the diary. He is not the composer Luigi Cherubini, who died in 1842; the file's folder (culture/music) is a leftover of an auto-generated stub and does not mean a composer.

Identity uncertain

We are not sure who this is. The diary names him once, beside Lafond, among the young men of Berthe's and Alexis's skating set in December 1879; no first name, title or occupation is given, and the Mon Journal t.13 index has only «Cherubini (M.) 143»; web searches for a Cherubini of the Paris skating club (Cercle des patineurs) in 1879–1880 found nothing.
