Café Anglais

Overview

Fashionable Paris restaurant at the corner of the boulevard des Italiens (no. 13) and the rue de Marivaux, opened in 1802 and named after the Peace of Amiens, closed in 1913. It was known for its private dining rooms, the most famous being the «Grand 16» (GRAND_16.md). (en.wikipedia «Café Anglais».)
