Overview

A spa town in the Pyrenees, commonly prescribed for tuberculosis patients in the nineteenth century (source footnote at 105.0016; Wikipedia, «Eaux-Bonnes»). It is the cure proposed to Marie twice: in May 1881, when the family quarrels about where she should take her cure, and in July 1884, in the last months of her life.

In Marie's diary

See Potain.
