I asked the architect to find out where Saint-Marceaux buys his clay and all his studio equipment — and here is his reply of yesterday. And this evening he sends me a letter from Saint-Marceaux himself, who says he will bring me the addresses as soon as he has them. It makes me shriek with excitement and laugh together with the Princess, who is dining here.
J'ai prié l'architecte de savoir ou Saint Marceaux achète sa terre et tous ses attirails d'atelier et voici ce qu'il me répond hier. Et ce soir il m'envoie une lettre de Saint Marceaux lui-même qui lui dit qu'il ira me porter ses adresses sitôt qu'il les aura. Ça me fait pousser des cris et rire avec la princesse qui dîne ici.
