An improvised luncheon, most merry. Mme Gavini returning from a wedding, Saint-Amand, Mme de Bailleul, and Soutzo. Saint-Amand is very excited; he tells me he will make me all the rage.
Un déjeuner improvisé très gai. Mme Gavini revenant d'un mariage, Saint Amand, Mme de Bailleul et Soutzo. Saint Amand est très exalté, il me dit qu'il fera de moi tout ce qu'il y a de plus à la mode.
In the evening to Rigoletto: Mme Gavini, Dina, I, Saint-Amand, and Soutzo. Saint-Amand is wild on the way home — he holds my hands, declaims verses, and calls me his child.
Le soir à "Rigoletto", Mme Gavini, Dina, moi, Saint Amand et Soutzo. Saint Amand est fou au retour, il me tient les mains, déclame des vers et m'appelle son enfant.
