Soutzo sits, we are good friends; then I go to see Madame Gavini — in the afternoon again — with the family; then to the Brochetons'; then to the Bois, where I see that abominable Joseph, who looks at me while I do not look at him; we even meet him three times without doing anything to bring it about. The Mouzays for dinner. I am still tired from my fainting spell.
Soutzo pose, nous sommes bons camarades puis je vais voir Madame Gavini, dans l'après-midi encore, avec la famille puis chez les Brocheton puis au Bois où je vois cet abominable Joseph, lequel me regarde et que je ne regarde pas, nous le rencontrons même trois fois sans rien faire pour cela. Les Mouzay à dîner. Je suis encore fatiguée de mon évanouissement.
