Séraphin is Larderel's counterpart to Marie's maid #Rosalie: the two servants gossip about their masters, and Marie gets much of her news of Larderel through them.- Naples, April 1877: he follows Larderel by cab (070/1877-04-07); he asks Rosalie «Pourquoi votre Demoiselle ne veut-elle pas de Monsieur le comte ?» (070.0761), and Rosalie repeats his talk to Marie (070.0763–0764).
