Captain Rangouli (the Mon Journal t.4 index: «Rangouli, capitaine, 228»), captain of the Jarevna (Tsarevna), apparently a Russian ship, which lay at Nice in December 1874. Nothing more is known about him.

On 1 December 1874, the day the Empress of Russia passed through Nice on her way to San Remo, Marie and her mother see the crowd streaming from the station hoping for a glimpse of her. «Walitsky l'a vue, il était avec le consul Pelikan et Rangouli, capitaine de la Jarevna» (027.0106).
