Grand Duchess Dagmar

Maria Feodorovna, born Princess Dagmar of Denmark (1847–1928), who married the Tsesarevich Alexander Alexandrovich on 9 November 1866 (en.wikipedia «Maria Feodorovna (Dagmar of Denmark)»); in the autumn of 1874 she was the "grande-duchesse héritière", the future Empress when Alexander III came to the throne in 1881. Marie writes «Dagmar».

Mentioned once, on 1874-09-22 (024.0059), in the quest for a horse for Marie: «Le diacre a fait de nouvelles démarches, et Bauvais, Bauvais a plusieurs haras en Russie, propose des chevaux. Il a surtout un, dit-il, doré, âgé de quatre ans et demi, fougueux et si beau qu'il veut l'offrir à Dagmar, à la grande-duchesse héritière.
