• 1875-07-28 (037.0472-0479): the Three Graces (Marie and the Sapogenikoff girls) stay in his studio "de deux heures à cinq heures et demie" for four poses; "Le photographe perdait haleine".
• 1875-09-29 (045): Marie, disguised as an old man with a false beard, is at first refused a sitting; he and his wife shriek with laughter when she removes the beard.
• 1876-06-27 (062): Marie poses four times in an Agrippina-style costume at "Bienmüller, le photographe de Ma Majesté".

A Wilhelm Bienmüller, French photographer active 1861-1878, appears in the Musée d'Orsay photo archive (RMN-Grand Palais, photo.rmn.fr, albumen print portrait of a prefect), and a "Bienmüller & Kaiser" studio is recorded at Place de la Bourse, Marseille (carte-de-visite imprint, c. 1870, Deutsches Schiffahrtsmuseum). Whether either is the Nice photographer is not established; no Nice listing was found.
