Overview
Web is a groom (the person who rides out with Marie) in the Bashkirtseff household in Nice, spring 1874. The only mention is on 24 March 1874, when Marie's brother Paul refuses to ride with her and she decides «de monter accompagnée de Web, pourvu de monter. Mais Web est sorti et en rage je me déshabille» (017.0465). The preceding paragraph says why she needs him: «je ne puis pas monter avec un groom qui sort avec tout le monde» (017.0464), so the groom is the one who has gone out.
