Overview
An unidentified Russian Grand Duchess attending the Russian Orthodox church in Nice on June 1, 1873. Marie notes she appeared at church "pour la première fois depuis deux mois peut être" (for the first time in perhaps two months). The presence of several grand dukes at Mme Savelieff's funeral on May 15, 1873 (see TWO_GRAND_DUKES / GRAND_DUKES) confirms the Russian imperial family had members wintering in Nice in spring 1873.

Research Notes
Identity unconfirmed. Several Russian Grand Duchesses wintered on the Côte d'Azur in the 1870s, including members of the Romanov family connected to the Monaco court (the Prince of Monaco's son married a Hamilton — a family with Russian imperial connections). The specific Grand Duchess at the Nice Russian church in June 1873 requires further archival research.
