Overview
The Villa Savelieff was the Nice residence of M. and Mme Savelieff, a Russian family in the Bashkirtseff social circle. Mme Savelieff died there in May 1873 after a prolonged illness. After her death, the Patton family temporarily moved into the villa (June 1873) while their own house was being renovated, despite the painful memories the place held for them.
