Neuenhagen
Také známý jako: Neuenhagen
Overview
A garden at or near Berlin that Marie walks in on 29 July 1876, on the way to Russia: «Nous nous sommes promenées dans le jardin de Neuenhagen. The party is Marie, her aunt and the servant boy Chocolat, who «attire l'attention de tous ces fichus Prussiens».
Identity uncertain
We are not sure what Neuenhagen is here. It reads as the name of an estate, an inn-garden or a village garden outside Berlin (the drive «jusqu'à Berlin» is made afterwards); a municipality called Neuenhagen bei Berlin lies east of the city (Wikipedia, «Neuenhagen bei Berlin»), but the mausoleum that follows (Charlottenburg, see the footnote at 064.0307) lies to the west, so the connection is not obvious. The Mon Journal t.9 index has no entry for it. If you know the place, we would be glad to hear from you.
In Marie's diary
- 1876-07-29 (064.0307, Berlin): the only mention.
