Comte Hector de La Ferrière-Percy
Také známý jako: le comte de Laferrière, le comte de la Ferrière, de la Ferrière, comte de La Ferrière
Who he was
Count Hector de La Ferrière-Percy (1811–1896; one library record gives 1898), historian of sixteenth-century France and editor of the Lettres de Catherine de Médicis for the Collection de documents inédits (vols 1–5 from 1880), e.g. «Lettres de Catherine de Médicis, publiées par M. le comte Hector de La Ferrière» (archive.org, lettresdecatheri02cathuoft). Not the couture house Laferrière.
The identification rests on Marie's «le comte de la Ferrière, celui qui écrit» (098.0492) and «très, très vieux» (098.0298): no other comte de La Ferrière was a writer in Paris in 1883 (0.8). Mon Journal t.15 index: «Laferrière (comte de la) : 182, 185, 199, 222», kept apart from «Laferrière (Caroline, couturière)».
