Starzinski

Overview

A Polish or Polish-sounding family in Nice in 1874. The Mon Journal t.4 index has «Starzinsky (comte), 179, 235» and «Starzinsky (comtesse), 250»; t.2 lists a «Starzinska (Mme), 252». No more is known.

Relevance to Marie

On 5 December 1874 at the Rumpelmayer café of the Cercle, the ladies' café: «il n'y avait que nous et les Starzinski» (027.0174). On 19 December, among the audience in her verses: «La Starsinsky est en rose» (027.0313).

• 15 October 1874 (merged entry COUNT_STARZINSKY): with the architect Biasini Marie visits «la nouvelle maison du comte Starzinsky», not quite finished: «C'est grand, c'est clair, c'est vaste. Toutes les chambres de réception communiquent», and she wishes her own villa had such salons (024.0347). Same Nice family as the Starzinski of December 1874 (t.4 index «Starzinsky (comte), 179, 235»).
