Overview

Le Phare du Littoral (full name: Le Phare du littoral méditerranéen) was a regional newspaper based in the Alpes-Maritimes region of France, originally founded in Antibes in 1865 and later associated with Nice, running until 1938. In the early 1870s it was an active presence in Nice's political life, publishing on local affairs and sometimes suppressed by the prefect during politically sensitive moments.
