Marie's teacher of chemistry in Nice in the autumn of 1873; the Mon Journal t.2 index has «Lemp, professeur de chimie», pp. 77, 93, 95-96, 170, 176. His lessons squeeze into her day: «Lemp m'attend mais je lui chipe vingt-cinq minutes» (010.0004, 23 Sept 1873); «Lemp ne vient pas» when the school year begins (010.0168); «Je vais prendre encore une heure pour la chimie» (010.0206); on 11 November he comes ten minutes early and spoils her breakfast (012.0179), and tells her that Paul also skips his classes (012.0222). No first name.
