Fidiere

M. Fidière, a pupil at Julian's atelier (Mon Journal t.14 index: «Fidière (M.), élève à l'atelier Julian: 109»), whom Marie calls «un jeune homme d'en bas» (a young man from the men's studio downstairs). On 1881-04-01 (091.0406), after the punch at the studio: «Bojidar sans que je le lui demande s'est informé chez Fidière ... et assure que j'ai le numéro 2» for her picture at the Salon; a footnote explains that the jury's number (1, 2 or 3) governed the hanging. No first name was found; he may be the sculptor Octave Fidière, but no source for that was found. See #Julian.
