Catherine, sister of #Nini (Alexandrine Patchenko, wife of Marie's brother #Paul). At Gavronzi in July 1881 she is in the party for Krementchoug, «Catherine, sœur de Nini» (092.0227, 9 July), dances in the quadrille (092.0245, 11 July) and is mentioned again on 17 July (092/1881-07-17). In October 1882 Marie sketches in the evening with «Catherine, la belle-sœur de Paul» (096.0397), and she is among the guests at the baptism of Paul's son (096.0459, 29 October 1882).
The diary gives no surname; as Nini's sister she was presumably born a Patchenko. The former entry CATHERINE_ERISTOFF, merged here, called her «Catherine Eristoff»; nothing in the diary supports that surname.
