I went to Julian's to show him the Randouin portrait; this Marseillais looks very pleased and tells me it is getting better and better.
J'ai été chez Julian lui montrer le portrait Randouin; ce marseillais a l'air très content et me dit que ça va de mieux en mieux.
That is not my opinion of the portrait — I detest it; but if others think as Julian does... Well, I shall redo it all the same; I shall try to make it please me — one more session.
Ce n'est pas mon opinion pour le portrait, je le déteste mais si les autres pensent comme Julian... Eh bien je le referai tout de même, je tâcherai qu'il me plaise, encore une séance.
